Summer nail trends!

Hey girls! It's summer so that means nails nails nails! It's time to show off your toes while lounging poolside. Whether you go to get them done or do them yourself, sometimes it's hard to decide on a color or pattern. These current trends might inspire you!

Bold and Bright
Add a pop of electrifying color to your outfit! Try not to be too matchy-matchy here. If you're wearing pink, go for a turquoise or mint. If you're wearing green, go for a blue or pink!

Mismatch
Try a different color on each of your fingers! Or if your bold enough...do each hand a different color! If you want something more subtle, try a slightly different color on the same hand.

Patterned
While patterns may be intimidating, they add interest to any outfit. Mixing patterns is trending right now, so don't be afraid to try it!

We've been inspired by these lovely nails, and we hope you are inspired to create your own designs! Don't forget to share your ideas with us!

Beauty Disaster Solutions!

We know that sometimes we can get discouraged when we are plaqued by beauty disasters...But, the truth is many of these so-called "disasters" are easily fixable with a few easy tricks! From unexpected zits to serious sunburns, there is usually a simple solution! The next few days, we will be sharing a new beauty disaster and it's solutions! Today's is.....

Unexpected Zits

Zit Zapper:
If you want a fast and super-easy fix, we recommend a brand-named zip zapper (like the one below). These have powerful anti-bacterial medicine that will help reduce redness and swelling, while curing the zit at its source: bacteria.

e.l.f Essential Zip Zapper
$3.15
www.Amazon.com

 Ice and Benzoyl Treatment:
There is another solution, however, that doesn't require buying anything extra. In fact, it can be done with items already found in your home! Just find some ice and Benzoyl peroxide! The ice helps reduce swelling and inflammation that can occur when a zit is just forming. The benzoyl introduces oxygen into the pore, thereby killing the acne-causing bacteria that lies there. When this bacteria is gone, the zit disappears!

We hope you found these tips helpful! Stay tuned for tomorrow's beauty disaster post! Stay beautiful!

Abbey Pynn!

We love how natural she looked! She added a bit of color on her eyes, but didn't go overboard. This gave her a natural-looking summer face that could be used during the day or at night! Her eyeshadow and lip color added to her natural beauty, which is what the summer look is all about! Congrats, Abbey! We will be emailing you soon to arrange giving you your prizes!

Thanks, again, to everyone who submitted an entry! You all looked stunning! We will be posting another free giveaway soon, so stay tuned! Also, invite your friends to participate! It's a great way for us to see how all of you stay beautiful, too!

June Birchbox Review!

Hey girls! So I just recently received my June Birchbox and I'm in love. The theme for this month's box was Jet Set, so either the products were picked for their travel-friendliness or they were picked from another part of the world! And since I am about to embark this Sunday to an unknown location, I was just exuberant with the contents of this box.

As you can see from above, the Birchbox team decided to keep it's receivers stylishly protected with Cynthia Rowley fashion inspired band-aids! I will definitely be carrying these around with me next week. I was also delighted to find a full size liquid eyeliner! Personally, liquid or gel is my all-time favorite liner, and I just ran out of my NARS liquid eyeliner so I've been trying to hunt a new one down lately. This eyeliner is called Eyeko, and it's imported from London, one of my favorite places, which makes it even better! Next, in the box was a lip/cheek stain called Staniac by theBalm cosmetics. I love stains because you never get the same look twice! You can dab a little on for subtle color, or use a generous amount for a pop of color. One product that I was a little surprised to find but also extremely happy about, was the Melvita Rose Floral Water. It's used to refresh your skin at any point in your day. I love it's light, fresh scent. This is a really nice product to have for travel. Also in the box, is a skin moisturizer by the brand Yu-Be from Japan. It can be used for problems from dry skin or lips, to split cuticles and sunburns. This all-in-one product is once again a necessity for travels. The bonus in my box this week was a cologne sample for "a Birchbox Man." I think the point of this was a father's day bonus, but mine will be given to my boyfriend (sorry dad)!

Anyway I love getting my Birchbox because it's like a little surprise every month! And what's better than getting beauty product presents? I highly recommend for those of you that have a little extra money every month to subscribe to Birchbox, (or just ask for it for a present like me!)
Also, don't forget you only have 2 more hours to send in your summer makeup looks for our free giveaway!!!

Remember to leave us any comments or suggestions below!
